Totalmas product service centre is located at Kemaman, Terengganu. It is strategically located to between two major petrochemical industrial sites within reach in less than one hour by land transport. We are capable of performing modifications, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, calibrating, installation and commission.
Our large sheltered workshop is sited on 2 acres of land. Here we have serviced among others a 20″ control valve of 5 meters in height and about 6 metric tons by weight. With an overhead hoist, complete tooling and testing facilities, our big valve is quickly repaired and put to service.

TOTALMAS 1st Valve Service Centres
Totalmas Holding Sdn Bhd is a supplier of many well-known oil field equipment brands to companies throughout Malaysia. With emphasis on good after sales service, we are well equipped to assemble, repair, refurbish and test for control valves and mechanical valves.
Our large sheltered workshop sited on our 2 acres of land enables us to undertake critical and difficult to execute jobs with precision and with great protection from the environment. For on-site jobs, all equipment and fittings, except our 10 MT hoist, can be transported with ease to customers’ premise.
Professional Personnel
The workshop superintendent is Encik Mat Zahit Bin Othman. He has immeasurable amount of experience through his employment with Oakwell Industries, Suff Marine and Van der Horst, being well versed with various types of valves servicing, including Ball, Check, Gate, Globe, Choke and Butterfly valves.
He is joined by Mr. Bernard Tan, who is the on-site valve specialist. Graduating from the Aircraft Maintenance Course offered by the Singapore Air Force, he is also certified in valve, actuator and control assembly. Mr. Bernard Tan was attached with Orbit Valve Inc. from 1989 thru 1997. Throughout his years at Orbit, he was a specialist in valve repair and reconditioning, installation of actuators and gear operators, and related accessories. He was also responsible for technical and field services and liaison with service contractors as well as warehouse management activities for valves and spare parts. In 1992, he was awarded the company’s “Excellence Award” for his contribution during the commissioning of the Petronas GPP 2/3 in Kerteh.
Supporting the jobs taking place at the workshop is Encik Mahidin. Previously from the Malaysian Royal Navy, he coordinates and expedites the jobs taking place. Besides that, he also acts as the customer relations’ officer and the liaison between the workshop and head office.
Encik Zainal is an experienced valve-servicing technician. Previously based at the Kemaman Supply Base, he was also actively involved in offshore activities, mainly performing work involving modification of valve with lathe and milling machines.
Encik Ridzuan Mamat is the assistant engineer. He is knowledgeable in Material Management, Quality Control Inspection, Material & Testing, Hydraulics and Pneumatics systems as well as AutoCAD and Cad Cam programming. He was in charge of machinery maintenance while employed by Nichicon (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., where he held the position of a Production Technician.
In-house Facilities
All maintenance jobs performed at our workshop are approved by the original manufacturer and forms an integral part of our company philosophy, which stresses on quality, reliability and recognition.
The workshop is manned by experienced staff fit and equipped to perform machining, testing and assembly on valves with sizes of up to 42 inches. We are also equipped with the necessary equipment to perform hydro testing, pressure testing and leak testing. Some of the equipment and machinery on site include:

Other than the usual maintenance work, we are capable of performing modifications such as trim changes, flange conversions and the installation of special packing and gaskets. Besides that, we are experienced in the mounting of a full range of valve actuators, ranging from gear operators to sophisticated motors, pneumatics, hydraulics and electric actuators
Service & Repair Capabilities
At the inception of our workshop in 2001, we have taken on numerous jobs. Some of our previous jobs include providing maintenance work on a 24” ASME Class 900 ORBIT Ball Valve. The work undertaken comprised of repair work on the bonnet gasket, packing ring set, stem guide, actuator stem and up-grade conversion kit.
We offer complete service in maintenance jobs, including the supervision of the removal and installation from line and removal and installation of valves. We offer Electroless Nickel Plating and radiography facilities at approved contractors. Totalmas offers full warranty on repairs or re-manufactured valves.
